RESOLUTION NO. 25-04
OF EDMONDS SCHOOL DISTRICT No. 15 SNOHOMISH
COUNTY, WASHINGTON

AUTHORIZATION TO INCREASE THE BALANCE OF THE
WORKERS’ COMPENSATION REVOLVING FUND IMPREST ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the district is self-insured for workers’ compensation benefits; and

WHEREAS, the School Board has authorized the selection of a third-party administrator for the district’s workers’
compensation benefits; and

WHEREAS, the third-party administrator pays workers’ compensation benefits on behalf of the district by check;
and

WHEREAS, per Chapter 42.26 RCW, the School Board has authorized the establishment of a revolving fund
imprest account for payment of workers’ compensation benefits; and

WHEREAS, the imprest account balance needs to be increased from $150,000 to $300,000 to meet the increase in
workers’ compensation activities; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board approves the increase in the balance of the Workers’
Compensation Revolving Fund Imprest Account from $150,000 to $300,000.

ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of Edmonds School District No.15, Snohomish County, Washington, at a regular
meeting thereof this 11th day of February, 2025.
