C ougra tula tions, Retirees!

Corey Millard, Teacher at Discovery High School, retiring after 44 years in education and 25 in South Kitsap.
Mary Anne Van Doornik, Instructional Specialist at Marcus, retiring after 31 years in South Kitsap.

Bill Johnson, Teacher at East Port Orchard, retiring after 19 years at South Kitsap.

Cheryl Chatham-Spohn, Teacher at Sidney Glen, retiring after 22 years in South Kitsap.

Margaret Whitley, Teacher at Orchard Heights, retiring after 28 years in education and 10 in South Kitsap.

Sandy Orcutt, Office Coordinator at South Colby, retiring after 30 years in South Kitsap.

Liz Seamans exemplifies Know Your Purpose through her
dedication to the Kids Cafe. She has mastered her role as
lunchroom supervisor and taken the initiative to learn custodial
and food service duties, ensuring the cafeteria runs smoothly, a
even during absences. Liz Knows nearly every student's name,
teaches manners and kindness, and recognizes individual
strengths and needs. Her efforts create a safe, welcoming space
where students thrive, making the cafeteria a better place for all

Rebecka goes above and beyond to support our Multilingual
Learners and all of the compliance that comes with it. She is
never too busy nor does she ever express any "not my job" but
instead steps up and helps out. This is her normal, and today

she once again worked with the District MLteamtosupportand »
round up students for WIDA testing that was positive, inclusive
and part of a team to help these students.
