BOONE COUNTY PROPOSAL FOR SPEECH THERAPY SERVICES
Services to be provided under this proposal:

1) Evaluations

2) Therapy

3) Parent and teacher consultation

4) Teacher and staff in-services

5} Collaborative classroom services

6) TEP development

7) IEP annual review meetings

8) IEP Eligibility meetings

9) IEP Placement meetings

10) Speech, language and hearing screenings

11) Caseload review and reduction as outlined by state guidelines
12) Telehealth services as needed during any school closing secondary to the Pandemic

Fees: $39.00 per session (30 minute sessions) and travel reimbursed at a rate of $37.50
per hour from the LinguaCare office to the school and back.

These services will be provided by master’s level speech/language pathologists who are
certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and who are licensed by the
state of West Virginia. We provide the following support to your county:

1) On site supervision and mentoring of SLPs we place in your county.

2) Feeding specialists who can evaluate and implement a feeding plan for the staff
and parents,

3) AAC specialists who can evaluate and implement a communication plan for the
staff and parents,

4) Experienced telehealth SLPs if in-person learning is changed to remote learning.

5) Free training for the county SLPs in the areas of AAC and pediatric feeding.

We provide the highest level of expertise with yearly continuing education to assure that
our skills remain on the cutting edge of our profession. We will provide your county
with guaranteed uninterrupted service throughout the school year.
