’ STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVEMENT

Mathematics — Envision adoption, SAVVAS intervention,
afterschool math club for grades 3 to 5, recruit academic
coach.

Reading — UFLI intervention, SRSD writing program
adoption, WVGSA data analysis of low performing
standards, afterschool writing clubs for grades 3 to 5.
General — Weekly grade level data meetings, WVGSA test
authoring for both math and ELA, AimsWeb progress
monitoring and benchmark analysis.

} REQUESTS FOR SUPPORT

¢ Academic - Student support liaison capable of
working with attendance, scheduling and leading
IEP/SAT/504 meetings. Currently, 38% of our students
have IEPs — which does not include our 504 and SATs.

¢ Other - Full-time nurse to support our high needs
population.
oOur part-time nurse is only contracted to stay until
12:30pm, but after that, office staff typically see another
15 to 20 students for medicine and general care.

oHelps support our high needs population, including our
Pre-K special needs and LEAP classrooms.

§ FACILITIES

Additional Cameras -

We would like to request cameras for safety purposes in the
following locations:

¢ All areas outside of self-contained classrooms and sensory rooms
that support special programs.

¢ Up and down the front hallway in front of the cafeteria.
¢ LEAP Playground & Recess Blacktop

Pavilion/Outdoor Classroom (in the works) -
¢ We've raised approximately 10% of the cost for this project.
¢ We're seeking additional funds/grants to get closer to our goal.
