Christmas Tree Lighting, and Harpers Ferry Olde Tyme Christmas Concert at historic St. Peter's Church

Theatre had State-level Best Actress, Best Prop Designer, & Best Set Designer at International Theatre Symposium

Theatre had Best Filmmaker at National level of International Theatre Symposium

Theatre had clean sweep (Outstanding ratings) of all Technical entries at Regional competition (10 total categories), qualifying
for State competition

Art classes continued collaboration with Ms. Hoover (ELA) for the Wildlife Forever Conservation Awareness Fish Art Contest

Business and Marketing Student Certifications

13 students earned Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2019 Certification

42 students earned Graphic Design & Illustration Using Adobe Illustrator Certification

4 students earned Digital Video Using Adobe Premiere Pro Certification

1 student who earned Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2019 Certification placed 1st in WV for Fall competition

WHS students earned top 3 places for Jefferson County HS Math Field Day — 2nd year in a row WHS won county trophy grades
10-12

4 students qualified for Regional Math Field Day grades 10-12, also 1 qualified as alternate

1 student qualified for Regional Math Field Day grade 9, also 1 qualified as alternate

"Student Organizations

SGA started the Patriot of the Month program to allow student choice to recognize staff
Key Club collected 17 pallets worth of supplies for North Carolina hurricane victims

Baking & Pastry classes held Holiday Cookie Competition with school & board employees as
judges, baked 40 dozen cookies for new Ranson school opening

NHS inducted 31 new members, more than doubling membership

NTHS earned distinguished Silver Star of Excellence Award (only 14 chapters Nationwide)
DECA donated $1000 to Breast Cancer Association in Hagerstown, MD

FFA recognized as 3-star chapter Nationally (1 of only 3 chapters in WV, one of highest FFA
honors), Superior Chapter & Gold Emblem at State Convention

Ag program estimated economic impact for 2024 calculated at $153,641

Snow Ball Winter Formal (Key Club) raised over $3,000 that was donated to the Jefferson
County Boys and Girls Club

The Junior and Senior Classes held the first ever Deck the Halls competition and Jolly Jamboree
