40-7000 MATTERS FROM THE BOARD
Mr. Boyles - Excited to see Mr. Norman looking into Middle School Baseball.
Get a lot more kids involved while getting good instruction.
Compliments to Mr. Norman.
Mrs. Costello - | Appreciates the letter in regard to the Science Adventure
School, hopeful that the rest of the Board will sign in support.
Thank you to all the teachers and parents that made those
last few days of school so much fun. All should be
commended. Teachers worked hard, students tested hard,
well deserved fun.
Mr. Dragich - Happy to see the coloaboration of school nurses and MVA
providing clinics. Marion County is a leader that deserves
recognition from Charleston.
Great proposal for Middle School Baseball, short on fields,
Watson field would be a good start.
School counselors have the opportunity to share about the
Celebrate Recover program, great experience.
Mr, Pellegrin- | Appreciates Ms. DeVaul’s report.
Mr. Saunders - Disagrees with much of Ms. DeVaul’s consultative report and
will discuss that at a later time.
Have there been any change of orders for the field house
project at this time? Dr. Heston confirmed there have not.
August 3 at The Bridge in Bridgeport there is a Free Aviation
Program, it would be nice to get that info out to Marion County
Families — Once info is officially received from Tracey Miller, it
will be sent out, per Dr. Heston.
All-state golfer has not been recognized.
Extremely unsatisfied with the reporting being done for the
local newspaper - lack of information, not very equal as far as
reporting during election and Bond events.
