pcoming Events & Activities Culture Club Events — Orange Crush Night (9/19) KMS Dance — (9/27) Hispanic Heritage Month- District Celebration (10/04) Chinooks Shop Up! o KMS Attendance Challenge (First round of 6 weeks) o The challenge focuses on a different class period each week. The classes with the highest attendance percentages win a variety of incentives to thank them for showing up =" Week | — First Period Top 3: e Brown-Bowen — 100% e Halcumb — 98.88% e 6T. Swett — 97.6% Testing/Assessment o Students are completing the fall iReady diagnostic in both reading and math o Individual Student Learning Plan development will begin after completion of iReady diagnostic o PLC teams have begun reviewing diagnostic data and will continue to use results to support students with extension and intervention o Chinook Time activities will be created around skill need areas Chinook Time o SEL Mondays * Community Building Circles (9/09) = SEL Screener (9/16) " School Wide Team Building Assembly (9/26) Project AWARE Student Supports o Plans and protocols are in place for identified students to content area focused interventions during Chinook Time. o KMS Staff are continuing to work on supporting students access technology, communicate with teachers, navigate canvas and more.
