Clubs, Activities, and Co-Curricular Pay

Oak Harbor School District
2024-25

Section1

Each activity must have a minimum average of ten (10) students.

Selection of activities shall be decided at the building level with approval of the building principal

and the Superintendent or Superintendent's designee.

Unless pro-rated over a twelve (12) month period (or remainder of the year) or approved by the
Human Resources and the Payroll Offices, payment for after-school activities will be paid upon

completion of the activity and proper verification provided.

Section 2

K-8 After-School Activities

After-school activities, and clubs will be paid at a rate of $31 per day, not to exceed $2,050 per
year. Weekend activities will be paid $186 for a full day and $93 for a half day for K-6 activities only.

Principals are authorized to pay $1,025 stipends (including Safety Patrol at the Intermediate Level)
per semester at the Middle School or Intermediate Level and S683 stipends per trimester at the

Elementary School Level should it be more appropriate than the $31 per day.

Directors of approved evening (after 5 PM) or weekend elementary and intermediate level music

concerts will be paid $180 per event unless already compensated by a stipend.


Section 3

Other Positions:
Middle School

The following other positions will be paid at the stated rate:
e Game Manager: $30/game for up to 2 games a day

e = Line judge/libero tracker $20 per game

e  Timer/Scorekeepers: $25 per game

e Track meet timer/scorekeeper, meet clerk: $35 per meet
e §=Track Event Worker: $20

High School

The following other positions will be paid at the stated rate:
© Game Manager: $35/game (simultaneous games equal one game) for upto 2 games a day

Line judge/libero tracker $20 per varsity game

Timer/Scorekeepers:$30 per game

Announcer for basketball, football, track and field, wrestling $30 per varsity game
Track meet timer/scorekeeper, meet clerk: $35 per meet

Ticket sellers S60

Ticket takers $30

Track Event Worker: $20

5. WIAA State qualifying events with league opponents will not be considered Board Approved
