BOARD OF EDUCATION — MEETINGS

Regular Board of Education meetings are held on the first and third Monday of

each month. Notice of these meetings will be posted at the front entrance of the Board of

Education Building, 69 Avenue B, Madison, West Virginia and the Boone County

Schools Warehouse, Foster, West Virginia, at least three (3) days prior to a meeting.

Any notices of the time, place and purpose of special meetings of the Board
of Education will be made available at the front entrance at 69 Avenue B,
Madison, West Virginia and Boone County Warehouse, Foster, West
Virginia, at least two (2) days prior to a meeting.

Notices of any changes in regular meeting dates will be posted at least
two (2) days prior to the meeting date.

Notices of any changes in special meeting dates will be posted at least two
(2) days prior to the meeting date and will be made available at the front
entrance at 69 Avenue B, Madison, West Virginia and at the Boone County
Warehouse at Foster, West Virginia.

Executive sessions held by the Boone County Board of Education will
conform with Chapter 6, Article 9A, Section 4 of the law.

The public will be provided copies of the agenda of any meeting on the day it
is held and before it has convened.

The Boone County Board of Education recognizes that all meetings must be
open to the public, although the Boone County Board may, either on its own
initiative or upon the request of an interested party, hold an executive session
during a regular, special or emergency meeting authorized by the Board
President or member of the Board.

Although inquiry, consultation, and discussion may be had in an executive

session, no decisions may be made in an executive session.
