6.3 BCTC Grow Your Own teaching program

Dr. Messer distributed three (3) handouts to the board and discussed the plans he has for the BCTC Grow Your Own teaching program. He also shared that he, along

with Mr. Tagliente, visited Putnam County Schools in March to observe their Grow Your Own teaching program.

Approved the request of Dr. Jacob Messer, BCTC Director and Principal, to eliminate the drafting program and replace it with a Grow Your Own teaching program,
effective 2024-2025 school year. (REASONS: The drafting teacher, Mr. Donald Paitsel, is retiring and drafting enrollment has declined in recent years.)
