Erwin, Assistant Superintendent Contract Agreement Date: May 21, 2024 This agreement between the Jackson County Board of Education, P. O. Box 770, #1 School Street, Ripley, WV 25271 and BSN Sports, PO Box 841393, Dallas, Texas 75284, is made this 21st day of May, 2024. The contractor has agreed to provide materials, equipment and labor to complete the installation of bleachers at Ripley High School baseball field as described per Omnia Contract Number R201101, Quote dated March 1, 2024, for a total cost of $45,280.14. This agreement shall include delivery of materials dock to dock, customer responsible for offload; demo of existing dug-out seating with wood tile bases for disposal (patch holes only); installation of (27) 15’ aluminum player benches with back, surface mount anchoring ($20,141.73): installation of (2) 21’ aluminum player benches with back, surface mount anchoring ($1,799.98): installation of (1) 27’ aluminum player benches with back, surface mount anchoring ($1,111.99); anchoring and miscellaneous installation materials dumpster with disposal ($17,375.00), and Freight charges ($4,851.44). The Notice to Proceed shall be the date the contractor receives the Purchase Order. This work may commence after all required documentation is in place. Project must be completed by August 1, 2024. Please notify Mike Erwin, Assistant Superintendent of the targeted start date as soon as possible. Within ten days of receiving this notice you must provide my office with verification of liability insurance, a valid West Virginia Contractor's License, and Workers’ Compensation coverage. The Owner agrees to provide payment upon the completion of work with 10% to be retained until final acceptance of the project provided the Contractor has properly billed the Owner. Payment cannot be made until the invoice is turned in and is approved at the next board meeting. Check with Mr. Erwin for board meeting dates.
