TITLE: Randolph County Board of Education Elkins, WV Job Description PLC Teacher Leader QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Hold a WV Teaching License 2. Must teach in the grade level or content specific area of the PLC REPORTS TO: County Curriculum Team JOB RESPONSIBLITIES: 1. Exhibit knowledge and skill in the teaching of the assigned grade-level/subject-area standards. 2. Help to lead the implementation of the county’s instructional framework within the assigned grade-level/subject-area. 3. Plan for and facilitate the assigned county-wide grade-level/subject-area PLCs. 4. Promote the use of evidence-based materials and instructional practices within the assigned grade-level/subject-area. 5. Plan for and implement activities to support county and state initiatives in the areas of connection, engagement, and high-quality instruction. 6. Serve as a liaison between the district administrative staff and the grade-level/subject-area staff regarding the implementation of the county's instructional framework including attending BOY and EOY planning meetings and disseminating information within the assigned grade-level/subject-area. 7. Support grade-level/subject-area staff in the implementation of the county's instructional framework. 8. Collaborate with district-level staff to analyze data and create a continuous plan for improvement. 9. Assist with updating subject area curriculum maps in collaboration with textbook adoption committee representatives. SALARY: $300.00 annual supplement paid out of Teacher Induction funds EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the RCBOE Policy (3220).
